Pulse width modulator by LM3524
Friday, July 31st, 2009

* use a large surface ground track/fill for this circuit, otherwise the LM3524 will not work reliably!
* mount the two potentiometers through the enclosure, as shown in the picture on the start of this page (these pots are used to control the frequency and duty cycle)
* the driver is based on the LM3524 PWM chip, [...]

General Purpose Power Supply by L146 or LM723
Friday, July 31st, 2009

This power supply is designed for general purpose use. Advantages of the circuit are first the voltage can be adjusted from 0V to greater and second it does not require a double sided secondary winding transformer.
For high voltage outputs you can use L146 or alternatively if you need lower voltage outputs you can use IC [...]

Power Supply +24V / -24V 3A for amplifier hifi
Friday, July 31st, 2009

The main power supply is relatively conventional - the mains supply is presented to the torroidal transformer via a fuse, a thermal cut-out and the power switch. A device that looks like a VDR is mounted on the power switch…
The secondary windings produce ±24V nominally using discrete diodes and 2 reservoir capacitors. The second pair [...]
