Digital Voice Record and Playback Project by ISD2560P
Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

This project is based on ISD2560P IC which allows us to record 60 seconds voice and playback it with very high quality. As shown in the schematic, we input the voice by using an electret microphone. If a dynamic microphone is used, R2,R3,R4 resistors and C3,C5,C7 capacitors will be omitted and microphone will be connected [...]

R-2R Digital to Analog Converter with LM358
Monday, June 8th, 2009

Use this circuit as a low cost alternative to a commercial DAC. It is important that the latch be a CMOS device, so that the outputs drive to Vcc when they are high. (TTL devices only drive to 2.4 volts or so). I have shown the ‘573 latch rather than the ‘373 which can also [...]

Simple 5V power supply for digital circuits
Sunday, May 24th, 2009

This circuit is a small +5V power supply, which is useful when experimenting with digital electronics. Small inexpensive wall tranformers with variable output voltage are available from any electronics shop and supermarket. Those transformers are easily available, but usually their voltage regulation is very poor, which makes then not very usable for digital circuit experimenter [...]
