Variable Voltage - Current PS by LM1458+2N3055
Monday, September 29th, 2008

This regulated power supply can be adjusted from 3 to 25 volts and is current limited to 2 amps as shown, but may be increased to 3 amps or more by selecting a smaller current sense resistor (0.3 ohm). The 2N3055 and 2N3053 transistors should be mounted on suitable heat sinks and the current sense [...]

Variable Laboratory DC Power Supply
Sunday, September 28th, 2008

Voltage range: 0.7 - 24V Current limiting range: 50mA - 2A A Variable DC Power Supply is one of the most useful tools on the electronics hobbyist’s workbench. This circuit is not an absolute novelty, but it is simple, reliable, “rugged” and short-proof, featuring variable voltage up to 24V and variable current limiting up to [...]

DC Power Supply 1.25V to 25V
Monday, August 4th, 2008

This power supply is based on the LM317 Variable Regulator. The input of the regulator needs to be around 28 Volts DC and it will output a DC voltage from 1.25vdc to 25 vdc. To adjust the output voltage simply turn the 5k ohm pot. The regulator will supply 1.5 amps of current.
